Simple Q&A With Wyatt
July 23, 2009 at 1:35 pm (D&D, D&D 4e, Fluff/Inspiration, Homebrew, RPG, Site Concerns, Spirits Of Eden)
I thought a good thing to do is have people ask questions in the comments for me to answer in an upcoming blog post. I’ve been struggling for things to write lately (even if it doesn’t look that way) especially since my short fiction writing is pretty sporadic in frequency. I thought instead of doing another tired “what would you like to see guys?” post I’d just open up to questions.
I’ll take any questions related to RPGs or this blog. Questions about:
•Spirits of Eden
-Fluff questions (Ex. “What are dragons like in Spirits of Eden?”)
-Game questions (Ex. “What is [power x that you wrote] meant to do?”)
-Metagame questions (Ex. “How should I handle Clerics acting out of accordance with deities in the setting?”)
•My D&D 4th Focuses
-Online gaming
-Homebrewing
-Humor Gaming
-Story in D&D 4th
•And hell maybe even questions about my fiction stuff or personal questions (to an extent).
I want to have this be a recurring thing hopefully, like I post an Answers article and in that article more new questions are given that I answer in another article and so on. I’d like at least 8-10 questions but I can take more if I get more. People can ask multiple questions of course, but try to keep it to 2 or 3 burning questions rather than everything that’s on your mind.

1. Does it amuse you that your current related posts are: Megan “I’m a Man” Fox at Golden Globes: Number of Gay-Turned Men Spikes in Record Numbers
and
Simple Church 09 and Appendix A, B?
2. Any positive feelings on Divine Power (vs Arcane and Martial)? Are you dreading Primal Power more now or looking forward to it?
3. What is your favorite class of 4e and which do you think is the most well-designed?

“Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)
# Megan “I’m a Man” Fox at Golden Globes: Number of Gay-Turned Men Spikes in Record Numbers…”Wtf WordPress?
Anyway, I would actually be interested to know how you indeed “handle Clerics acting out of accordance with deities in the setting?” I’m curious if this would stray far from the “send some Paladin’s out to smite them” deal we got from Wootsie.
-Online gaming: How do you feel (and this may be mostly prevalent on a PbP site we both frequent) about Questionnaires needing to be answered in game submissions, both as a Player and a DM? Same with requesting backstory. As a whole, what do you feel is an appropriate amount (both as PC and DM, once again)?

When developing your Spirits of Eden setting, what was the process in which you built your world?

Are there any plans at all for a printable version of Spirits of Eden or perhaps even publication? I love reading your stuff, but unfortunately I’m going through a time in my life where I won’t have much access to computers and it would be great if I could read it on the road or something.
